Kosovo reports 467 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, nine more deaths

Kosovo reported 467 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, an increase in number of daily infections comparing with last week.

A total of 69,697 infections have now been confirmed in the country since the first case was reported in March of 2020. Of the new cases reported in Kosovo on Monday, 188 were in Pristina.

The National Institute of Public Health in its daily bulletin has also announced that nine more fatalities had been attributed to the virus, bringing the death toll to 1,608.

According to the Institute’s data 214 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours bringing the number of those recovered to 60.063. The latest data show that there are 8,026 active cases in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
