Kosovo reports 12 more deaths and 764 new COVID-19 cases

Kosovo health authorities reported 12 more deaths and 255 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The results came after 11,827 samples in the last 24 hours by the State and private healthcare institutions of Kosovo.  

The National Institute of Public Health in its daily report said that 584 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours brining the number of those recovered to 23,274. Since the pandemic began in early March Kosovo has confirmed 37,792 COVID-19 cases. Based on the Institute’s data there are 13,543 active coronavirus cases in Kosovo. Of 764 new cases reported Friday, 319 are in capital Pristina.
