Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti kicks off Brussels visit
Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has kicked off a two-day visit to Brussels when he will meet senior European Officials to discuss dialogue with Serbia. This is his first official visit abroad since he assumed office as Prime Minister of Kosovo last month.
Kurti is accompanied by two deputy prime ministers,
Donika Gervalla-Schwartz, in charge of Foreign Affairs and Besnik Bislimi
dealing with European Issues and Dialogue. Bislimi arrived in Brussels on
Tuesday when he held an informal meeting with the EU Special Representative on
Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Kurti initially will meet his Belgium counterpart Alexander
de Croo, to continue with meetings in the European Commission. On 28 April

On Thursday, Kurti will meet the President of the
European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the EU High Representative, Josep
Borrell. Kurti held Tuesday a virtual meeting with the President of the European
Council, Charles Michel. While in Brussels Kosovo Prime Minister will also meet
NATO’s General Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg. /GazetaExpress/
