Kosovo President to visit Washington soon

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is expected to travel to the United States soon. This was revealed by the deputy president of the Atlantic Council, Damon Wilson, during an interview with the Voice of America, service in Serbian, Gazeta Express reports.  

Wilson mentioned Thaci’s visit to Washing when speaking on recent political developments in Kosovo and difficulties the country is facing to form new government after early elections held in October 2019. “You see it is complicated, because democracies are complicated,” Wilson said.

However, he says that prolong the process of government formation is a good thing proving that democracy and cooperation have evolved quick. “This is commendable,” Wilson said. He also mentioned Kosovo president Hashim Thaci. “And you have President Thaci, who I think soon will visit Washington”, Wilson said without elaborating further. /GazetaExpress/
