Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, said he will start consultations with leaders of all political entities represented in Parliament following Wednesday’s no-confidence vote in Albin Kurti’s Government, Gazeta Express reports.
Thaci said that after consulting leaders of all parties represented in Parliament will see modalities of creation of a new “comprehensive and unity” Government.
“Following no-confidence vote in Government, as a president of the country, I will start consultations with all parties in parliament, to look for modalities of creation of a new comprehensive, stable and unity government. As a president of the country I will fully respect the Constitution and applicable laws in each step I take,” Thaci said Thursday after visiting the Kosovo Security Force (KSF). On Wednesday the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) which was part of ruling coalition backed by opposition parties, pushed forward a no-confidence motion in Kurti’s Government. /GazetaExpress/
