Kosovo president invites political leaders to discuss ‘national interests’

Kosovo president Hashim Thaci has invited today in separate meetings political leaders aimed at “consulting and coordinating on issues of national interest.”

The President’s Press Office issued a statement on Sunday saying that Thaci will meet initially the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Kadri Veseli, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) Ramush Haradinaj, Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti, Nisma leader Fatmir Limaj, and head of the Alliance New Kosova (AKR), Behgjet Pacolli.

Kosovo prime minister and Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti has not included in his agenda published on Monday a meeting with Thaci at 13:00hrs as scheduled by the President’s Office. It remains unknown whether PM Kurti will go to the meeting with the President Thaci.

The schedule of Thaci’s meeting with Political leaders:

Isa Mustafa – LDK: 10:30;

Kadri Veseli – PDK: 11:30;

Ramush Haradinaj – AAK: 12:30;

Albin Kurti – Vetevendosje: 13:00;

Fatmir Limaj – Nisma: 13:45;

Behgjet Pacolli – AKR14:15.
