Kosovo PM uncertain how the dialogue will continue if Serbia insists on Association
Prime Minister Abdullah Hoti says Kosovo will not make
compromises to reach a final agreement with Serbia. He expressed uncertainty
about the way the dialogue will continue after Serbia’s insistence to open the
topic of the Association of Serb Municipalities but said that the dialogue will
not stagnate because of Kosovo.
“The Association issue was concluded in 2013. But
the dialogue will not stall because of Kosovo. We are an independent state; we
have clear principles agreed with our international friends,” he said.
“Based on these principles, we are ready for dialogue. Kosovo made
compromises in 2008 when it declared independence.” Asked whether the LDK would
make a compromise to vote a PDK candidate for president, Hoti did not deny rule
out such a possibility. /GazetaExpress/
