Kosovo PM says he will not transfer dialogue competencies to President

Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, denied he has transferred competencies to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci on heading dialogue with Serbia.

After the Government’s meeting on Saturday when the Cabinet has decided to lift reciprocal measures with Serbia, Hoti said the Government will lead the dialogue. He said this is guaranteed by the Constitution. “According to the Constitution, the Prime Minister leads the dialogue. I will never transfer competencies to the President. The Dialogue is headed by the Government,” Hoti said. Kosovo media reported that based on the Hoti’s Government Program approved on Friday is stated that the President will be the authority to represent Kosovo in negotiations with Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
