Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, hosted Wednesday Wolfgang Petritsch, President of the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation, former EU special envoy on Kosovo in 1998-99 and former EU’s chief negotiator in the Ramboulliet Conference held in 1999, Gazeta Express reports.
The Government said in a statement that Kurti met with Petritsch after the latter is staying in Kosovo as part of the Diplomatic Academy of the Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora. According to Prime Minister’s Office Kurti and Ambassador Petritsch discussed current political developments in the region and Kosovo.
“Among other things, views have been exchanged on 15 June meeting held in Brussels of the new chapter of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and proposals of Prime Minister Kurti. It was discussed on the importance of cooperation and coordination between the European Union and the United States of America for a process which guarantees mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia,” according to the press release. /GazetaExpress/
