Kosovo prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, reporting Friday before Members of Parliament said that Kosovo has entered a new phase of dialogue for mutual recognition and nothing else, assuring MPs that nothing is happening behind curtains in the EU-facilitated dialogue with Serbia.

“It is an expression commonly used in the courtroom: I swear to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth! I am telling you on Kosovo’s position on the dialogue. I cannot comment Serbia’s position. We have entered a process on recognition and there is nothing beyond that. Nothing is happening behind curtains, do not raise new theories or hypothesis. The dialogue will be led by the Prime Minister. I have appointed a state coordinator on dialogue who is coordinating this process,” Hoti told MPs.

PM Hoti visited last week Brussels when he met Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the EU-facilitated dialogue. On Thursday, the State Coordinator on Dialogue, Skender Hyseni, met Director of Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric to discuss on the issue of missing persons, one of the topics opened by Hoti and Vucic last week. PM Hoti answering criticism of opposition parties and analysts said Thursday that there will be no technical dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia insisting that the two countries will discuss on a comprehensive legally binding agreement on mutual recognition which would lead to normalisation of relations between the two countries. /Gazeta Express/
