Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is set to visit Brussels next week, when he will meet European Union representatives, a Government spokesperson confirmed to Gazeta Express.
Government’s spokesperson, Perparim Kryeziu, said that Kurti in Brussels will have bilateral meetings with the EU officials and will not meet Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic. This is his first official visit to Brussels since he assumed office as Prime Minister of Kosovo on 22 March 2021.
“The Prime Minister Kurti will pay an official visit to Brussels next week when he will meet representatives of the European Union institutions. No meeting has been scheduled between Prime Minister Kurti and Mr. Vucic,” Kryeziu told Gazeta Express.
During his visit to Brussels from 28-30 April Kurti is expected to meet the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative Josep Borrell and the Elargment Commissioner, Oliver Varhelyi.
Also, Serbian President Vucic is expected to visit Brussels on 26 and 27 April fueling media speculations about Kurti-Vucic meeting. But the EU says that “they are not aware about such meeting.” /GazetaExpress/
