Kosovo PM Albin Kurti hosts mayors of Presheva and Bujanoc

Albin Kurti, hosted Tuesday mayors of Albanian-majority municipalities in
Serbia, Ardita Sinani of Presheva and Nagip Arifi of Bujanoc, as well as
municipal councilor of Medvegja, Fehmi Beha, to discuss rights of Albanians in Serbia.
Ardita Sinani informed PM Kurti on the situation in this municipality after damages
caused by recent floods. She said that Albanians living in this municipality
lack investments and other obstacles that the Government in Belgrade is
creating to potential foreign investors in this municipality.

Nagip Arifi said that Albanians are facing freedom of movement problems when
crossing border and employment problems because their diplomas obtained in
Kosovo are not recognized by authorities in Serbia.

address and their rights of statehood.

President Aleksandar Vucic as part of the EU-facilitated dialogue in Brussels.
Kurti said that as part of the new chapter of the dialogue with Serbia he will
engage on applying reciprocity when it comes to rights of minorities in both Kosovo
