Kosovo Parliament approves revised state budget

Kosovo Parliament approved in principle the revised state budget for this year with 67 votes for and one abstention, Gazeta Express reports.

The biggest opposition party in parliament – the Vetevendosje has not supported the reviewed budget, saying the Government has not justified how they going to spend millions of euros from the state budget. Speaker Osmani said the Parliament approved in principle the Law on Budget 2020 and asked the Parliament Committees to review the draft law and give their recommendations at their earlier convenience.

The Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has thanked MPs for voting the reviewed budget and urged respective Parliament Committees to proceed with their recommendations and bring to Parliament for a final approval. /GazetaExpress/
