Kosovo opens border with Albania, after lifting COVID-19 restrictions
Kosovo-Albania border crossings opened officially
on Monday, after both countries have decided to ease coronavirus restrictions.
Kosovo’s caretaker Government has decided
that as of today to lift most of the restrictions imposed after COVID-19
pandemic by opening kindergartens, shops, malls, and decided to open its borders.
Authorities announced that in addition to border crossings with Albania, Kosovo
has reopened also border with Serbia and Montenegro. Kosovo took a decision to
close its borders on 13 March 2020 as part of measures to contain spread of coronavirus.
