Kosovo judoka Nora Gjakova won gold medal at the International Judo Federation Grand Prix in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Gjakova stood on the highest step on the podium at a Grand Prix on Friday, in Tbilisi after defeating Georgian Eteri Liparteliani in the final contest in -57 kg. The win will grant Gjakova additional Olympic points.
In the semifinal the Kosovo judoka defeated Slovenian rival Kaja Kajzer after previously defeated Marica Perisic of Serbia, Sabrina Filzmoser of Asutria and Mariia Skora from Ukraine.
Four representatives of Kosovo appear in this Grand Slam. On Saturday will compete Akil Gjakova and Laura Fazliu whereas on Sunday will appear Loriana Kuka. /GazetaExpress/
