Kosovo’s Minister of Justice, Selim Selimi, said Wednesday that a working group tasked to set the principles of vetting in judiciary will be supported by embassies of the EU, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, the EU Office in Kosovo and the OSCE in Kosovo.
Selimi during a press conference Wednesday said the Government is committed to implementation of reforms in judiciary and the Government during today’s meeting has voted the establishment of a working group on drafting modalities and set the principles on reforms in judiciary aimed at addressing accountability, including vetting in judiciary.
Selimi said that the Working Group will be composed of legal experts, representatives of civil society, and all shareholders of the judiciary system in Kosovo with the supporting role of the EU Office in Kosovo, US Embassy, Great Britain Embassy, German Embassy, Italian Embassy, and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo. He said the working group will present a final draft on judicial reform by the end of October this year. /GazetaExpress/
