Kosovo Government sets no deadline on appointing Dialogue Coordinator

Kosovo Government in its recent meeting took a decision to appoint a State Coordinator on Dialogue with Serbia and a Council of Experts on dialogue who would be directly report to Kosovo prime minister Avdullah Hoti.

But despite the decision the Government has not appointed the coordinator. The Prime Minister’s Press Office told Gazeta Express that there is no deadline for appointing the State Coordinator adding that the appointment will happen soon.

“There is no legal deadline on appointment of the State Coordinator on Dialogue, but this appointment will not be delayed,” The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement. Also, the Government has not set any financial guideline or legal frame on how these bodies will function within the Prime Minister’s Office. Hoti’s Office told Gazeta Express that the number of members of the Council will be small hence the financial implications of the team would be reasonable. /GazetaExpress/
