Kosovo prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, held Tuesday a virtual meeting with members of the National Council on Economy and Investments.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that PM Hoti asked members of the Council to agree to further stimulus measures to boost the coronavirus-hit economy for the year 2021. The Prime Minister proposed a 182-million-euro fund as well as a list of reforms for a new fiscal package, which are expected to be finalized at the beginning of 2021, Gazeta Express reports.
PM Hoti said that despite challenging situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government managed to help businesses remain operable, the Government said. Hoti told the Council that in October the Government has allocated 87 million euro, and 60 million euro were allocated to businesses, to help them remain in the market. /GazetaExpress/
