Kosovo prime minister Avdullah Hoti during a press conference on Sunday has commented the virtual meeting he had early today with Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic, with the facilitation of the EU Special Representative on dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
Hoti said that during today’s virtual meeting they agreed to meet in person on Thursday in Brussels. “The dialogue has no alternative, and only through dialogue we can solve all outstanding issues with Serbia. I have proposed the dialogue platform, and in this process, we enter for mutual recognition and on full normalization of relations between the two countries,” Hoti said.
“We have agreed in principle the next meeting to be held on Thursday in Brussels, which is the first meeting after 20 years of stalled dialogue,” Hoti stated. “We have presented our state position and we are ready to sit in every negotiation table to defend the statehood of Kosovo and to ask normalization of relations, which comes after mutual recognition between the two countries,” Kosovo PM Hoti said. /GazetaExpress/
