PM Hoti travelled to Washington accompanied only by members of his cabinet, after opposition parties of the Vetevendosje and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) have rejected Hoti’s invite to join the dialogue team. Hoti has not invited Speaker of Parliament Vjosa Osmani and President Hashim Thaci. The President’s Office told Gazeta Express last week that Hoti has neither invited them, nor asked a President’s Office representative to join his team. The Speaker’s Office has confirmed Monday that Vjosa Osmani has not been invited by PM Hoti.

Kosovo and Serbia will face on 4 September at the White House in a meeting hosted by the US National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien and special envoy on dialogue, Richard Grenell. The meeting was scheduled for 2 September, but the date was shifted to 4 September as media are speculating that the meeting most likley will be attended by the US president Donald Trump. /GazetaExpress/
