Kosovo authorities have banned Saturday a handball team from Serbia from entering the country to play a match against a local Serb team.
The Kosovo Police said that the Serbian team was stopped at the border crossing of Merdare based on the anti COVID-19 measures taken by the Government of Kosovo. According to the police international sport games of teams coming from other countries are allowed only with a prior consent of respective federations. The Political party representing Serbs in Kosovo has reacted saying that banning Serbian handball team goes against the Agreement on freedom of movement signed by Kosovo and Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
