Kosovo among 13 countries to get vaccines shared by the US global distribution plan

The White House reporter of the Washington Post and MSNBC contributor, Anne Rumsey Gearan, has announced that the United States have decided for an international distribution of an initial 25 million US vaccine doses.

Among the countries listed in the White House fact sheet that journalist Anne Rumsey Gearan has shared on Twitter is also Kosovo. It remains unknown how many doses Kosovo will benefit from this US global initiative of COVID-19 vaccination, Gazeta Express reports.

““Approximately 6 million [vaccine doses] will be targeted toward regional priorities and partner recipients, including Mexico, Canada, and the Republic of Korea, West Bank and Gaza, Ukraine, Kosovo, Haiti, Georgia, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen, as well as for United Nations frontline workers,” Rumsey Gearan wrote on Twitter. An additional 19 million doses of vaccines will be shared with other countries experiencing surges, those in crisis, and other partners. /GazetaExpress/
