KFOR Commander: Security situation in Kosovo stable

KFOR Commander, Italian General Franco Federici, said the security situation in Kosovo appears stable and currently there are no indication of potential riots.

Federici told Belgrade-based daily Kurir that around 3,500 soldiers from 27 countries are currently engaged in KFOR, and 19 of them are NATO members whereas eight are partners of the Alliance.

“KFOR’s mission has contributed and helped to make Kosovo a safe place for 21 years,” Federici is quoted as saying. He said that KFOR has established an excellent and efficient communication with Serbs in Kosovo and “a good official” communication with Serbian Army. /GazetaExpress/
