Israel to officially recognise Kosovo in coming weeks, plans opening Embassy in Pristina, Ambassador Gendler
Ambassador to Tirana, Noah Gal Gendler, says his country is expected to
officially recognise Kosovo as independent state in coming weeks.
Ambassador Gendler considers as very important the pledge of Kosovo to open its embassy in Jerusalem and Serbia to move its Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This was part of the arrangements of the US-brokered Agreement that booth countries signed last week in Washington at the presence of US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to Tirana-based TV Vizion Plus, Gendler said the recognition of Kosovo will become official in coming weeks. “It will be soon, this is my opinion, but no date has been set,” Vizion Plus quotes Gendler as saying. He said that also Israel will open its embassy in Pristina, adding that this will not happen right after the recognition, due to procedural issues. /GazetaExpress/
