Grenell’s Office denies September is deadline for reaching Kosovo-Serbia agreement

Dick Custin, spokesperson to the US special envoy on  Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has denied statements of the Kosovo caretaker prime minister, Albin Kurti, who addressing the Harvard University professors and students said Ambassador Grenell wants a Kosovo-Serbia agreement by September 2020.

Custin in an exclusive answer to Gazeta Express said Richard Grenell set no deadlines on reaching of a final agreement between Pristina and Belgrade. “Regarding your question about a possible deadline, I can tell you that there is no deadline,” Custin told briefly Gazeta express when asked to comment statements of Kurti.

Caretakre pM Kurti on Monday during a video conference organized by the Harvard University stated that US President Donald Trump’s envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, wants conclusion of an agreement by September this year. “He wanted an agreement, and this was his main goal. When we met in October last year he said that he wants an agreement by February, and now wants the deal be reached by September,” Kurti said on Monday. /GazetaExpress/
