Grenell calls fake news report claiming US is open to Kosovo-Serbia land swap

US President Donald Trump’s special envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has refuted a news published Tuesday by EUosberver claiming that the US remain open to Kosovo-Serbia land swap.

Grenell who is also US Ambassador to Berlin, reacted on Wednesday morning calling the EUobserver article as “fake news.” The EUobserver wrote on Tuesday that the US has declined to rule out a land swap between Kosovo and Serbia – despite German opposition to the idea. The EU news portal quoted the US special envoy on Western Balkans, Matthew Palmer who said on  Monday that “It’s up to the parties to establish the parameters of the dialogue.”

But Grenell reacting to EUobserver article in Twitter said that they never called or wrote to ask him before publishing the news. “Fake news. And you never called or wrote to ask. I am for what the parties agree to – I’m focused on economic development, not politics,” Grenell wrote in Twitter. /GazetaExpress/
