German Ambassador criticizes Kosovo lawmakers for not voting Draft Law on Economic Recovery

The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has criticized the Kosovo MPs for failing to adopt the Law on Economic Recovery for the fifth time in a row.

Rohde wrote on Twitter, “The fight against the negative economic effects of the pandemic is a common responsibility and requires common efforts. In this regard it is quite disappointing and to my knowledge a unique case in Europe to see that for the 5th time in the Kosovo assembly there was no agreement on the draft Economic Recovery Law. What is urgently needed from all stakeholders is the spirit of compromise. The citizens of Kosovo rightfully expect that.” /GazetaExpress/
