Kosovo Police have announced that they have arrested two people in Ferizaj on suspicion of possession of narcotics.
In the police statement, it is announced that, in Ferizaj, a suspicious vehicle with local license plates was observed, driven by a Kosovar male suspect, who after being introduced to the police officers attempted to leave in the vehicle, and that the police managed to stop the suspicious vehicle and arrest the aforementioned suspect, where during the search of his vehicle, 10 nylon bags with suspected narcotic substances of the type marijuana were found, reports Gazeta Express.
Furthermore, the police add that they have confiscated a car, two phones, bags filled with narcotic substances, cash and scales.

The Kosovo Police, in the continuation of its activities, within the framework of the "Stop Drugs" operational plan, on 15.05.2026 in Ferizaj, arrested two Kosovar male suspects for possession of narcotics.
Police units in Ferizaj observed a suspicious vehicle with local license plates, driven by a Kosovar male suspect, who, after being introduced to police officers, attempted to leave in the vehicle.
The police managed to stop the suspect's vehicle and arrest the aforementioned suspect, during which 10 nylon bags containing suspected narcotic substances, such as marijuana, were found in his vehicle.
In connection with the case, the relevant police units also conducted a search of a local establishment and another suspect vehicle, where it was suspected that a quantity of narcotics was being hidden by the second Kosovar male suspect.
The following material evidence related to the case was found and confiscated:
A car with local license plates,
Two phones,
10 nylon bags filled with marijuana-type narcotic substance (weighing 11 grams),
Two scales,
A nylon bag with suspected narcotic substance marijuana filled with 100 small bags
with a total weight of 112.5 gr.
A nylon bag with suspected narcotic substance marijuana filled with 36 small bags
with a total weight of 44.0gr.
A nylon bag containing suspected narcotic substance marijuana filled with small bags of
total weight 36.4gr.
A nylon bag containing suspected narcotic substance marijuana with a total weight of 10.9 grams,
A packet of rice,
A nylon bag containing a suspected narcotic substance of the type marijuana weighing 0.6 grams,
Cash totaling 200 euros,
A grinder for grinding marijuana.
The competent prosecutor was notified of the case, with whose authorization the two aforementioned suspects were interviewed, and after initiating the case "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances", the same were detained for 48 hours.
