KB Drita has been declared the champion of Kosovo in the First League, after tonight's victory over Proton Cable Prizren with a narrow score of 92-91.
The team from Gjilan also won the first match in Prizren (71:85), thus achieving two victories, which also ensures participation in the Kosovo Super League for the year 2026/27, writes "Gazeta Express".
Led by Dritëro Sefaja, the Gjilan team started tonight's game very well, closing the first half with a lead of 47-41.
However, Arbnor Rifat's team showed fighting spirit and fought until the last moments to tie the series.
Even Rron Dahsyla had the opportunity to win the match in the last action, but his breakthrough was blocked by a Drita player, and the white and blue team won the match.
The most notable players in Drita's victory were Walker with 20 points, Adhurim Aliaj with 19, and Adrian Ibishi added 18 more.
In Prizren, the super-performances of Dahsyla with 23 points and Ajazaj with 21 were not enough to avoid defeat.
