According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, Lionel Messi even called Casemiro to encourage him to join Inter Miami.
"Leo Messi called this weekend a former Real Madrid player who has left wonderful memories and his name is Casemiro," Inda said on the show "El Chiringuito de Jugones."
He also revealed some of the offers Casemiro currently has.
"There are offers from LA Galaxy, from Saudi Arabia, and now the main candidate is Inter Miami," he added.
Casemiro has been Messi's rival for many years when the Argentine played for Barcelona and the Brazilian for Real Madrid, but according to reports they have maintained a good relationship.
