The Basic Court in Ferizaj, General Department - Criminal Division, has imposed a one-month detention on rapper Butrint Januzi, known as Buta, due to the well-founded suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense of causing general danger and unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons under Article 366, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
According to the announcement, after holding the hearing and analyzing the case files, the preliminary procedure judge at the General Department - Criminal Division, Alba Makolli, assessed that:

Against the defendant EH, there is a well-founded suspicion that on April 11, 2026, at around 20:15 p.m., on a street in Ferizaj, precisely in the parking lot near the E. bar, after an argument at the time, he caused bodily injuries to the injured party/defendant BJ, so that while the injured party parks his car inside the parking lot and while getting out of the car, the defendant addresses him with the words "where are you, B., you fool", then he attacked him with a knife, hitting him with the handle of the knife in the left jaw, then he attempted to stab him in the head, while defending himself, the injured party grabs the blade of the knife with his hand, which cuts his hand and during the fight he falls to the ground and is also injured in his left arm, which causes bodily injuries for which he has a medical report.

Against the defendant BJ, there is a well-founded suspicion that on the same date, time and place as in point I, he caused great danger to the property and life of people, on a street in Ferizaj, precisely in the parking lot near the E. bar, in such a way that while they were fighting with him, EH took out a VD-9 4.0 pistol from his bag and fired twice towards the ground and as the fight between them continued, this pistol knocked them to the ground.

Also, there is a well-founded suspicion that from an unspecified date until April 11, 2026, he possessed a weapon in an unauthorized manner and in violation of the applicable Law on Weapons, as he possessed a pistol of the type VD-9 4.0 Made in USA, serial number GM., cal 9 mm, as well as 13 cartridges for which he did not have authorization and permission from the competent authorities, and the same is seized.
The pre-trial judge approved the state prosecutor's request for the imposition of a pre-trial detention measure against the defendants as well-founded in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, and they were sentenced to a pre-trial detention measure of one (1) month.
In this case, the parties are notified that the appeal against this ruling does not postpone its execution.
