The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, visited the BBI Plast company in Vushtrri, one of the success stories of local production in Kosovo, where high-quality plastic packaging is produced.
During the visit, Haradinaj was closely acquainted with the company's daily work, as well as the challenges faced by local manufacturers.
He emphasized that local businesses are facing a high burden of electricity bills, as a result of their dependence on electricity imports, which, according to him, is seriously hampering their competitiveness in the market.
Haradinaj stated that strategic decisions in the energy sector and a sustainable economy are needed to strengthen domestic production.
In this regard, he said that under Ardian Gjini's government, major energy projects will be restored as priorities, including the construction of the new Thermal Power Plant and the American Gas Pipeline, which according to him are vital for the energy independence and economic development of the country.
