A 55-year-old Albanian citizen has lost his life in an accident in the place called "Pyrgos Ilias" in the Peloponnese.
According to Greek police, 55-year-old Fatmir Dyrmishi was riding a bicycle at an intersection at the entrance to the city. Under circumstances still unknown, he was hit by a truck, sustaining serious injuries.
Top Channel's correspondent in Greece, Artur Bibe, reports that the Albanian was taken to the hospital but doctors were unable to save him.
His body was taken to the hospital morgue, while police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. The truck driver has been escorted for the time being.
The victim lived alone in the Pirgos area, while his family lives in Albania. /tch
