Election List “Guxo” registered as political party

The Election List “Guxo” has been registered as the political party in the Central Elections Commission (CEC). The new political entity is expected to organize internal elections and get new chairperson and leadership, Gazeta Express reports.

Faton Peci who represents this political entity said internal elections will start from branches. “Inevitably we will now enter internal elections, started from the branches,” he said. Peci who is minister of Agriculture in current Government, called on all citizens to join the new party.

Kosovo Foreign Minister, Donika Gervalla, said that she took the lead of the party until an election convention is organized. Gervalla said that this mandate they will continue coalition with the Vetevendosje.

The election list “Guxo” was initiated by President Vjosa Osmani but in general elections held in February 2021, this political entity run under the Vetevendosje election list winning the elections with over 50 percent of votes. Following the elections Vjosa Osmani was elected President of Kosovo, whereas other senior members of this party, Gervalla and Peci, got ministerial posts in the Government led by the Vetevendosje leader, Albin Kurti. /GazetaExpress/
