Coronavirus in Kosovo: 142 new cases and eight deaths

Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health on Friday announced 142 new coronavirus cases and eight more deaths. That brings the state’s total to 11,130 cases and 381 deaths.

Naser Ramadani of the Institute said the number of confirmed coronavirus infections is now trending down, averaging just under 200 a day. Most of the confirmed cases are residents of capital Pristina, followed by big cities such as Gjilan, Peja, Prizren, and Mitrovica.

According to the daily bulletin of the Institute in the last 24 hours 201 patients have recovered, bringing the number of those recovered to 6,817. According to official data there are 3,932 active COVID-19 cases in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
