Consolidation of institutions, US Ambassador Philip Kosnett visits Prime Minister Albin Kurti

Kosovo prime minister, Albin Kurti, accompanied by minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, hosted Monday the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, to discuss recent political developments in Kosovo, Gazeta Express reports.

The Prime Minister’s Office in a statement said that US Ambassador Kosnett congratulated Kurti of assuming his duties as prime minister of Kosovo and welcomed the arrival of the 24 thousand COVID-19 vaccines in Kosovo.

Kurti thanked the Ambassador Kosnett for his visit and the role US played in providing Kosovo with the first batch of vaccines. “The United Stated of America remain irreplaceable partner of the Republic of Kosovo and its people in facing challenges,” Kurti said.

Ambassador Kosnett and PM Kurti discussed also on concluding the consolidation of the state institutions based on the will of citizens expressed during 14 February election. /GazetaExpress/
