CEC to publish expenditures of political parties during February election campaign

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) is expected to publish soon an unaudited file on 14 February election.

The file contains names of donors for each political entity, culminative sums of more than 100 euro and reports of financial expenditures of political entities submitted to the CEC.  

Also, the CEC will publish financial reports of candidates who run for a seat in the Assembly during February elections.

This CEC publication will be accompanied with the explanation note that the financial reports of the electoral campaign are unaudited and can be amended and corrected during the auditing process. This was decided during CEC meeting Friday when it was presented also a report on upcoming regular mayoral election set to be held on 17 October 2021.

According to the CEC, preparations for the October local elections are ongoing based on the operational plan adopted at the beginning of this process. /GazetaExpress/
