British Ambassador says Kosovo-Serbia US-brokered deal brought progress

British Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, said his country has welcomed the agreement Kosovo and Serbia have signed in Washington on 4 September on normalization of economic relations.

In a debate organised Tuesday by NGO FOL, Abbott said the US involvement led by special envoy on Dialogue, Richard Grenell, brought progress in relations between Kosovo and Serbia. “Great Britain has welcomed the Washington Agreement. It should be noted that the US involvement, namely involvement of Richard Grenell, was positive in bringing practical progress,” Abbott said.

“The Ashington Agreement in itself is positive. It consists a wide range of topics, in some of which the European Union is also involved,” Abbott said. /GazetaExpress/
