Apostolova calls on Kosovo, Serbia to implement Brussels agreements

Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, said the EU expects Kosovo and Serbia implement all agreements reached during the EU-facilitated dialogue in Brussels, including the Agreement on establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities (ASM).

Apostolova in an interview with Jedinstvo, said the basic principle of international relations is respecting of agreements. Asked whether Kosovo side is refusing to implement the Brussels Agreements, including establishment of the ASM, Apostolova said the EU expects Serbia and Kosovo respect agreements reached earlier in dialogue and implement all what they have agreed. She said that Belgrade and Pristina are equal at the negotiation table.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo on 23 December 2015 has ruled that the EU-facilitated Agreement on establishment of the ASM was in violation with the Constitution. /GazetaExpress/
