Kosovars have unwavering confidence in US, here’s what they say in a US company’s questionnaire

“Centre for Insight in Survey Research” part of the “International Republican Institute” has conducted a questionnaire in all Western Balkan countries, including the Republic of Kosovo, during the period 2 February 2020 – 6 March 2020.

In this questionnaire, Kosovars have unequivocally expressed their position regarding the allies and the trust they have in them.  When asked to state their opinion on states separately, 88% of respondents expressed their unwavering belief that the alliance with the United States is extremely useful. They have a similar opinion about Germany.  86% of respondents have expressed a positive opinion regarding Kosovo’s alliance with Germany. As for relations with Turkey, Kosovars see cooperation with official Ankara as useful. Also, when asked who the largest donor in Kosovo is, 74% of respondents said the United States and 11% said the European Union.

Meanwhile in Serbia, they continue to believe in the alliance with Russia, considering the alliance with America unfavourable. In Bosnia they have more confidence in Turkey, while in Montenegro they do not have any strong preference for any of the world powers. /GazetaExpress/
