Kosovo FM Gervalla hosts Greek Liaison Officer, Chryssoula Aliferi

Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gervalla met Tuesday the Head of the Liaison Office of Greece in Pristina, Chryssoula Aliferi, to discuss deepening economic cooperation and advancing relations between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Ministry of Kosovo Gervalla said that “it is time for the old friendly ties between our peoples to be used in advancing the bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Greece.”   

“We thank Greece for the constructive approach in relation to the Republic of Kosovo, in particular for supporting our euro-integration processes, but at the same time we estimate that the cooperation between our two countries can be advanced to the benefit of our peoples and overall prosperity in the region”, Gervalla said. 

Minister Gervalla praised the work of the Liaison Office of the Hellenic Republic in the Republic of Kosovo and the Economic Office of the Republic of Kosovo in the Republic of Greece, but requested that both parties be more engaged in strengthening these ties, not only political but also economic and cultural. /GazetaExpress/
