Serbian president promises money, investments to Kosovo Serbs

Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic promised Kosovo Serbs that Belgrade would invest in building a medical centre in Mitrovica North, a new facility in Gracanica, a 54-kilometres long road from Jarinje border crossing to Mitrovica North and allocate seven million Euro into the Mitrovica University building.

After meeting Kosovo Serbs’ representatives in a barracks in Serbia’s southern town of Kursumlija, Vucic also said Belgrade would provide financial aid to Kosovo, children, and the unemployed. He listed projects on lightening and restoration of façades in some other places in Kosovo, mostly populated by the Serbs. Vucic also informed Kosovo Serbs about the planned visit by European Union’s special envoy Miroslav Lajcak to Pristina and Belgrade and the security situation in Kosovo, media in Belgrade have reported. /GazetaExpress/
