4.9 Magnitude earthquake rocks Albanian coastal city of Durres overnight

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake with epicenter located hit the coastal city of Durres in Albania on the night between Wednesday and Thursday with tremors and aftershocks felt in Durres and capital Tirana.

The epicenter was located in Adriatic Sea around 27 kilometers north-west of Durres. In November 2019, Durres was struck by a devastating earthquake leaving dozens of people killed and destroying hundreds of houses and apartments. /GazetaExpress/
