Israel to recognize Kosovo, confirmation expected today

Israel is expected to recognise Kosovo right after Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti signs an agreement on economic normalization with Serbia at the White House.  

Gazeta Express has learned that today’s agreement in Washington will bring Kosovo one of the most important recognitions since the country declared the Independence in 2008.

The recognition from Israel is “a gift” from the White House to Kosovo, after Kosovo delegation agreed to sign an agreement with Serbia, which officially is known as the Agreement on Economic Normalization.   

Gazeta Express reports that once PM Hoti ends the meeting with US President Donald Trump, he will receive a phone call from the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu who reportedly will confirm Hoti that Israel recognises Kosovo as an independent country. /GazetaExpress/
