Kosovo prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, has congratulated Albanians living in North Macedonia for winning a record number of seats in the Parliament after Wednesday’s general elections in the neighbouring country, Gazeta Express reports.
Hoti has also congratulated North Macedonian’s parties for successful concluding of elections saying that he looks forward to working with the new Government in Skopje.
The Albanian Democratic Union for Integration was ranked third with 11% of votes, while a coalition of two smaller Albanian parties followed at nearly 9%. Based on a projection, political parties representing Albanians have won over 30 seats in a 120-seated Parliament of North Macedonia, the highest ever number of seats that Albanians had since the country became independent in the early 90s. /GazetaExpress/
