207 new coronavirus cases in Kosovo – death toll nears 100
Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health said that 207 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed on Thursday bringing country’s total to 4.037. According to Institute report eight people have died within 24 hours from the virus bringing death toll to 94.
The Institute has tested 401 samples and 207 of them were confirmed positive. Most of the positive cases have been confirmed in capital Pristina, followed by Gjilan and Prizren. The Institute in its daily bulletin said that 32 patients have recovered on Thursday from the virus. The spike of COVID-19 cases forced the Government to reintroduce a curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 in Pristina and three other major cities to prevent further spread of virus. According to the Institute 94 people have died from coronavirus since the first case was confirmed in early March. /GazetaExpress/
