Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has supported the idea for opening of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) archives. Kurti says opening of archives would help solve the fate of those who went missing during 1998-1999 war in Kosovo.

Kurti said that Kosovo has its state archives which also include archive documents about the KLA. “We are transparent, but we need to solve the fate of the missing persons, and to achieve this we need opening of archives in Belgrade because killings, burials and massacres, and than reburials have not been done by Serbian citizens but by the state of Serbia in an organised manner, and its Serbia that needs to open its archives as soon as possible,” Kurti said.
