Journalist and political commentator, Valon A. Syla, does not see it as a wise move by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) to ignore scandals within the party after making public commitments.
He referred to the most talked about figure in the vote-stealing scandal among PDK candidates, MP Nait Hasani, who is quite active these days, addressing a range of issues in public opinion.
"After Nait Hasani came out to talk about the election and the issue of the President in Klan Kosova... he is probably afraid to go to the elections, because he knows it will be difficult to get elected, after the vote-stealing scandal in Prizren..
Has he forgotten that his party friends were robbed of their votes, and his "dislike" for the stolen votes has increased..."
Syla further added that this approach by PDK will be harmful to it as a subject, as the disregard for public commitments will not be forgotten.
'The PDK is also keeping quiet about vote theft within itself. After big words that vote thieves within the party will be punished and their mandates will be surrendered.
"What we are seeing is the opposite. The election thieves, or those who got a few extra votes from the thefts, are currently talking Live on TV, about big issues. But of course not about the thefts within them."
PDK leader Bedri Hamza had stated that this scandal would not be avoided and that there would be a review and accountability in accordance with the authorities' investigations. This issue of vote transfer between candidates of the same party has involved all political entities in the last elections, but the most serious was the case in the elections in Prizren where Nasit Hasani, the candidate for deputy at the time, was directly implicated./gazetametro.net
