The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment against the defendant BJ for the criminal offenses of "Espionage" and "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons."
According to the Prosecution's indictment, BJ, in his capacity as a police officer with the rank of lieutenant, from an unspecified period of time until July 17, 2025, is suspected of having continuously and intentionally collected and sent to officials of the Serbian Intelligence Service, classified official documents related to national security and the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the indictment, the defendant's alleged actions have seriously violated national security, the constitutional order and the institutional functioning of the Republic of Kosovo.
The SPRK has proposed to the Court the prohibition of exercising functions in public administration for a period of 5 years, the extension of the detention measure against BJ, the confiscation and destruction of a weapon, counterfeit money in the amount of 2,000,000.00 dinars, 500 francs and 7003 euros, as property acquired through the commission of a criminal offense.
