The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has reacted after the interview of the Mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku, saying that Skenderaj has been ''used as a stage for the next political manipulation by Albin Kurti''.
Rama added that Skenderaj was used to incite division among citizens, to create artificial tensions and to produce a climate of political confrontation, Gazeta Express reports.
"When a Prime Minister uses institutions, police and rhetoric to divide citizens and deepen social polarization, he is not governing, he is MANIPULATING," he wrote, among other things,
Post:
SKENDERAJ TODAY WAS USED AS A STAGE FOR THE MANIPULATION OF THE POLITICAL ROW BY Albin Kurti.
Today, Skenderaj was used to incite division among citizens, to create artificial tensions and to produce a climate of political confrontation. When a Prime Minister uses institutions, the police and rhetoric to divide citizens and deepen social polarization, he is not governing, he is MANIPULATING.
This is the same prime minister who has REFUSED to respond to the invitation of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo. Because he is above the law. He is the law.
The fact that Drenica is filled with police forces shows his sick need to project authority and feed a logic of political revenge.
Knowing the sacrifice and suffering that Drenica has experienced, provoking this region and labeling its Mayor as “Serbia” is a low act. Putting social peace at risk and pushing citizens towards division and conflict is evil.
This deliberate tension and these attempts at political destabilization are extremely dangerous for the people and state of Kosovo.
Drenica does not deserve this. Kosovo does not deserve this.
